Growing up along the banks of the Johns River, the river was never just water—it was where days were spent after school, where summers seemed to last forever, and where a deep love for the outdoors quietly took root. From that very spot on Collettsville Road, watching the river flow past the trees, there was always a dream that one day this place could be shared in a bigger way. Kayaks drifting downstream, friends floating by on tubes, laughter echoing through the woods—it was easy to imagine, even back then.
 

This kayak and tubing rental venture is the realization of that lifelong connection to the Johns River. It’s a chance to give back to the community, to help others unplug, slow down, and experience the same joy that shaped so many childhood memories. More than a business, it’s a commitment to getting people outside, onto the river, and smiling—creating new traditions on the same waters that made this place feel like home.
